Volleyball Recap: Windsor Comes Up Short

Windsor was the 3-0 winner over Sonoma Valley when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Jaguars took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons on Tuesday.

While Windsor ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 20-25, 25-17.

Tristan Estrada was nothing short of spectacular for Sonoma Valley: he had 23 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Estrada has posted since back in March of 2024. Alex Perez also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Windsor's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Sonoma Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Windsor has already played their next contest (against Rancho Cotate), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Sonoma Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Cardinal Newman on the 10th.
