Basketball Recap: Sterling Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Win

Sterling waltzed into their match on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They strolled past the Big Pasture Rangers with points to spare, taking the game 60-44. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Sterling is also on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Big Pasture, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 15-3 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sterling will head out to take on Indiahoma at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sterling is facing Indiahoma at the right time seeing as Indiahoma is stuck on a six-game losing streak. Big Pasture has already played their next game (against Frederick), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
