Softball Recap: Westview Chargers vs. Riverside Panthers        
        
		
            
 Westview can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  on Wednesday. They never let the Riverside Panthers onto the board and left with  an   8-0  win. The  victory was familiar territory for Westview who now have six in a row.
  McCall Simms was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. Simms has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in 12 consecutive pitching appearances. Simms was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Alexis Evans was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with four  RBI and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Sarah Byars, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-4.
 Westview has  been performing  well recently as they've  won nine of their last 11 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record  this season. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-9-1.
 As of now, neither Westview nor Riverside have any future games scheduled.
