Football Recap: Sherando Continues Home Dominance on Friday + How To Watch

Sherando won the last time they faced Brentsville District and things went their way on Friday too. The Warriors blew past the Tigers 28-7. With the Warriors ahead 28-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Mason McKee was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 126 yards and one TD on only 15 carries. Sherando also got a significant boost from Jacob Henry, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 96 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Sherando was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 222 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Sherando pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.7 points on average over those games. As for Brentsville District, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
