Princeton came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32 points) and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tri-County Mustangs 48-16. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Mustangs are ranked 381st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Princeton's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Tri-County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Princeton will face off against Stanberry at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tri-County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-29 win against Pattonsburg on the 31st.
