Volleyball Recap: Placer Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Placer lost against Whitney back in September of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hillmen fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 3-2. The Hillmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Placer started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 15-25, 25-17, 25-13, 15-8.

Regan Parenti was nothing short of spectacular for Whitney: she had 16 digs and two aces.

Placer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Whitney, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Placer will head out to square off against Rio Americano at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Whitney, they will challenge Vista del Lago at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
