Basketball Recap: Berne Union Comes Up Short

Berne Union lost against Grove City Christian back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Berne Union Rockets lost 62-38 to the Grove City Christian Eagles.

Grove City Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Brunicardi, who went 5 for 9 en route to 14 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Harmeyer, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points.

Berne Union's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Grove City Christian, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Fisher Catholic the next time they take the court. Grove City Christian will head out to face Fisher Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Berne Union will host them at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
