Preview: Round Mountain Knights vs. American Heritage Academy Patriots
The Round Mountain Knights will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the American Heritage Academy Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. Round Mountain will be strutting in after a win while American Heritage Academy will be coming in after a loss.
Round Mountain scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 56-44 win over Carlin.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Round Mountain to victory, but perhaps none more so than Keiran Swafford, who scored 27 points along with six assists and five steals. That's the first time this season that Swafford scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Bullington, who scored 13 points along with six assists and six steals.
Meanwhile, American Heritage Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 88-53 loss at the hands of Awaken Christian.
Round Mountain has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for American Heritage Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
