Eau Claire North dropped their record down to 5-7 on Thursday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They lost 13-0 to the New Richmond Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Huskies have suffered since May 22, 2024.

As for New Richmond, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The match marked their most dominant win of the season so far.

For New Richmond's part, Catelyn Swanepoel made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. Swanepoel was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season.

In other batting news, Jordyn VonWald was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. GingerAnn Lucas was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
