Jena not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 12, 2025 (when they won 11-1). They never let the Winnfield Tigers get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-4 last Monday.

Jena has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs this season. As for Winnfield, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Jena will venture away from home to take on Tioga at 6:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Winnfield, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Cedar Creek on the 10th.
