Basketball Recap: East Find Success

Madison typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday East proved too difficult a challenge. They managed a 59-55 win over the Madison Blue Streaks. This was a revenge game for East: when they faced off against Madison back in January, they had to take a 58-52 loss.

Madison's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Landon Tomco, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 18 points, and Mac Steele, who posted 18 points and three steals. Steele is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 13 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Williams, who scored six points.

East picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-19. As for Madison, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-9.

As of now, neither East nor Madison have any future games scheduled.
