Soccer Game Preview: Archbishop Shaw vs. Young Audiences

Archbishop Shaw's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They skirted past New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Eagles were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Young Audiences had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-3 victory over the Cavalier. Five seems to be a good number for the Yacs as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Young Audiences has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those six matchups. As for Archbishop Shaw, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4-2.
