After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Midway, James Kenan was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Goldsboro Cougars. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Cougars on September 2nd, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

If you add up the scores from across all four sets (95-92) James Kenan actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 16-25, 26-24, 25-23.

James Kenan's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Goldsboro, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Coincidentally, James Kenan and Goldsboro will both be playing Princeton the next time they take the court. The Cougars will head out to face the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
