Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Montgomery County). They blew past the Paris Greyhounds 89-54 on Friday. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Greyhounds are ranked 216th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Montgomery County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points over those games. As for Paris, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-17.

Montgomery County has already played their next game, an 83-70 victory against Highlands on the 15th. As for Paris, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 66-62 win against Wolfe County on the 15th.
