Pembroke Pines Charter came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged the Coral Springs Colts out 45-43. For the Jaguars, this counts as revenge for the 52-32 win the Colts walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2018.

Pembroke Pines Charter's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madison Ojeda, who posted 18 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Ojeda has scored at least a third of Pembroke Pines Charter's points. Another player making a difference was Marai Osborne, who earned 15 points.

Coral Springs lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Janelle Swaby, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. That's the most points Swaby has posted since back in November of 2024. Nethania Noel-Jeune was another key player, going 5 of 12 en route to 14 points.
