Basketball Recap: Grace Christian Takes a Loss

Grace Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Peoples Baptist Academy Knights, falling 48-18. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusader this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-25 back in December of 2024.

Thad Shuler was Grace Christian's leading scorer, having posted six points.

Grace Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Peoples Baptist Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Grace Christian has already played their next matchup, a 33-12 defeat against Oaks on the 10th. As for Peoples Baptist Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 47-28 loss against Bible Baptist Christian on the 13th.
