Thursday just wasn't the day for Cypress Creek's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cypress Ranch Mustangs on Thursday. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Cypress Creek now has a losing record of 1-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cypress Ranch beat Cypress Creek by a score of 4-0 later that day.
