Football Recap: Gunnison Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Gunnison fell victim to Alamosa and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Mean Moose and fell 35-0. The loss leaves the Cowboys still looking for their first win of the season.

Ethan Pierce threw for 58 yards on six of 18 attempts. Nolan Frymoyer was his top target, picking up 42 receiving yards. On the ground, Del Magdaleno rushed for 30 yards.

Brennon Maez had an outrageously good game for Alamosa as he picked up 129 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Maez didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended one pass.

Gunnison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Alamosa, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
