Volleyball Recap: Homestead's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Varsity Opponent on Thursday, Homestead came back down to earth. The Broncos took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northwestern Bulls on Thursday. The loss put an end to the Broncos' undefeated start to the season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 23-25, 25-16, 25-15.

Among those leading the charge was Jaiel Langston, who had five aces. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Having lost for the first time this season, Homestead fell to 2-1. As for Northwestern, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Homestead will take on Edison at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northwestern, they will square off against South Dade at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
