Basketball Recap: Wayne Valley Takes a Loss

Wayne Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 59-14 loss at the hands of the Montville Mustangs. The game marked the Indians' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Wayne Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Montville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wayne Valley will head out to square off against Hanover Park at 12:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Montville, they will head out on the road to take on Caldwell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Caldwell will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Montville surely won't give up without a fight.
