Recap: Lewiston Bengals vs. Post Falls Trojans
The Lewiston Bengals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight defeat. They fell just short of Post Falls by a score of 60-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Brooklynn Brennan, who scored 23 points for Post Falls. Another player making a difference was Katie Berg, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Lewiston has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season. As for Post Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 8-14.
Lewiston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Post Falls, they will head out on the road to square off against Lake City at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Post Falls is coming into the game with three straight victories on the road, meaning Lake City will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
