Softball Recap: Mountlake Terrace Hawks vs. Lake Stevens Vikings
Mountlake Terrace had lost four straight at home, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 7-11 to make it five. They came up short against the Lake Stevens Vikings, falling 10-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Hawks couldn't push the score so high this time.
Mountlake Terrace saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bri Reyes, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.
As for Lake Stevens, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-8. Considering they have won six contests by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountlake Terrace will welcome Edmonds-Woodway at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 9.9 runs per game this season.
