Basketball Recap: Mid-Buchanan Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Mid-Buchanan waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Summit Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 30-23. Given the Dragons' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Eagles are ranked 205th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mid-Buchanan is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.9 points per game. As for Summit Christian Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-6 record.

Mid-Buchanan will take on West Platte at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Summit Christian Academy, they will face off against Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
