Basketball Recap: Butner's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Paoli, Butner was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Mason Eagles by a score of 54-44. The win was a breath of fresh air for Butner as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Butner's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13. As for Mason, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Butner has already played their next contest (against Midway), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mason will take on Graham/Dustin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mason is facing Graham/Dustin at the right time seeing as Graham/Dustin is stuck on an 18-game losing streak.
