If Huntington North wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Leo, they should've done a better job of containing Nathan Foster. The Lions came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 35-28 on Friday with plenty of help from Foster, who rushed for 212 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.5 yards per carry, and also picked up 56 receiving yards and one touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making two total tackles.

Despite the defeat, Huntington North saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lathen Janes threw for 210 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 94 yards on only 13 carries. A healthy portion of Janes' aerial production (90 yards to be exact) went to James Linker.

The win made it two in a row for Leo and bumps their season record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.0 points over those games. As for Huntington North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
