Basketball Recap: Highland's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Highland had lost five straight headed into Friday's game, but Justin Pack didn't let it get to six. The Highland Trojans came out on top against the Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles by a score of 63-54 on Friday thanks in part to Pack, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 21 points and three steals. What's more, he also racked up four assists, the most he's had since back in January of 2024.

Highland's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-6. As for Lake Station Edison, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Highland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 79-49 loss against Andrean on the 25th. Lake Station Edison has also already played their next game (against Hanover Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
