Wicksburg won against Kinston on Thursday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Zion Chapel Rebels. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Wicksburg is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Zion Chapel, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coincidentally, Wicksburg and Zion Chapel will both be playing Kinston the next time they take the field. The Rebels will host the Bulldogs at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
