Volleyball Recap: Menasha Comes Up Short

Menasha lost against Oconto back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bluejays fell 2-0 to the Blue Devils. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Isabella Stephani paced Menasha's offense, picking up five kills. Stephani got some help from Iylee Mahoney and her five assists. Annabelle Guyette controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Braiya Wusterbarth had an outrageously good game for Oconto as she had 18 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Wusterbarth has posted over her last three matches. Sam McDowell was another key player, getting nine digs and two assists.

Menasha's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Oconto, their victory bumped their record up to 16-6.

Menasha has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Marinette on the 27th. As for Oconto, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Winneconne on the 27th.
