St. Mary's Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against LaGrange Academy, falling 3-0.

While St. Mary's Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into LaGrange Academy's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-14, 25-22.

St. Mary's Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emily Jimenez, who had 17 digs. Jimenez is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last five games she's played dating back to last season.
