Wayne waltzed into their matchup on Monday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. Everything went their way against the East Union Eagles as they made off with a 16-2 win. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Wayne's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for East Union, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Coincidentally, Wayne and East Union will both be playing Nodaway Valley the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Falcons will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
