East Pennsboro is on  a  14-game streak of home wins, while Archbishop Wood is on  a  three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Panthers will host the Vikings  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (East Pennsboro 1.8, Archbishop Wood 3) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
While East Pennsboro's  victory against Boiling Springs wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  2-1  win over the Bubblers  on Monday. The  victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bubblers: they've now won nine in a row.
 East Pennsboro's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Eric Foster Jr., who  went 1-for-2 with one  double.
Archbishop Wood never got on the board in their matchup last Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Roman Catholic on Friday. They put the hurt on the Cahillite with a sharp  13-3 victory. Considering the Vikings have won eight matchups by more than five  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Mason Burlingame looked comfortable as he  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Caden Vacca, who  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI and one  stolen base. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sebastian McNab, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  run and one  double.
 Archbishop Wood  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
 East Pennsboro's win bumped their record up to 22-0. As for Archbishop Wood, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.
 Both  the two teams just can't seem to miss. East Pennsboro has been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 9  hits per game. However, it's not like Archbishop Wood struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  only 5.1  hits.
