Miami has gone a perfect 4-0 against Duncan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Miami will be playing in front of their home fans against Duncan at 4:00 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Miami has struggled recently with nine defeats in a row, while Duncan will arrive with four straight victories.

Miami came up short against Gilbert Classical Academy on Friday, falling 15-4.

Miami saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Madrid, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. What's more, Madrid posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in February.

While Duncan didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over Patagonia on Friday.

Taygan Jensen was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits (and not a single walk). That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Duncan pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Miami, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Miami took their win against Duncan in their previous meeting back in April of 2018 by a conclusive 9-1. Will Miami repeat their success, or does Duncan has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
