Soccer Recap: Dobie Takes a Loss

Dobie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pearland Oilers. That's two games in a row now that the Longhorns have lost by exactly two goals.

Dobie's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Pearland, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Dobie will challenge South Houston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pearland, they will welcome Pasadena Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pearland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.3 goals per game this season.
