Football Preview: Woodland Wolfpack vs. McDonough Warhawks
Woodland has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will head out to square off against the McDonough Warhawks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Woodland is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Hampton on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Woodland came up short against McDonough in their previous meeting back in September of 2023, falling 27-19. Thankfully for Woodland, Terrell Riley (who rushed for 114 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 20 yards and a touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
