Soccer Recap: Douglas Byrd Comes Up Short

Douglas Byrd was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Lumberton Pirates, falling 6-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Douglas Byrd of the 8-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Douglas Byrd's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Lumberton, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6-1.

Coming up, Douglas Byrd will venture away from home to face off against Purnell Swett at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lumberton, they will take on Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
