After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Adams, Salem was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Franklin Patriots with a sharp 8-1 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Salem's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Salem's win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10-2. As for Franklin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-7-2.

As of now, neither Salem nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
