Softball Preview: Live Oak Lions vs. Paradise Bobcats

Last Friday, everything went Live Oak's way against Pierce as Live Oak made off with a 14-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Live Oak.

Brooklyn Murphey was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). Murphey has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in six consecutive pitching appearances. Murphey was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with a double.

In other batting news, Live Oak got a massive performance out of Bella Pacheco, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Olivia Na?ez was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
