Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Canton's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Canton won the last time they faced Cleveland Central and things went their way on Friday too. The Canton Tigers walked away with a 39-30 win over the Cleveland Central Wolves.

Canton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points per game. As for Cleveland Central, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 17-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Canton Tigers duke it out with the Holmes County Central Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cleveland Central, they will take on Gentry at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
