Softball Recap: Cypress Falls Takes a Loss

Cypress Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 10-1 to the Cy-Fair Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-2 back in March.

Cypress Falls saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Leblanc, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Cypress Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Cy-Fair, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Cypress Falls will square off against Cypress Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.29 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Cy-Fair, they will face off against Northbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.05 runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
