Camdenton typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Jefferson City proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Lakers by a score of 3-1. The Jays haven't had any issues with the Lakers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Jefferson City had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-17, 27-25, 25-17.

Jefferson City's victory bumped their record up to 19-13-1. As for Camdenton, their defeat ended a seven-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-8-3.
