If Camdenton wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Jefferson City, they should've done a better job of containing Ella Showers. The Jays came out on top against the Lakers by a score of 3-1 on Thursday with plenty of help from Showers, who had 25 digs and six assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Jefferson City had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-17, 27-25, 25-17.

The victory made it two in a row for Jefferson City and bumps their season record up to 19-13-1. As for Camdenton, their defeat ended a seven-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-8-3.

Jefferson City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Marshfield on the 25th. Camdenton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
