Baseball Game Preview: Amanda-Clearcreek Aces vs. Groveport-Madison Cruisers

The Amanda-Clearcreek Aces will take on the Groveport-Madison Cruisers at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Amanda-Clearcreek will be strutting in after a win while Groveport-Madison will be coming in after a loss.

Amanda-Clearcreek took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Circleville, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Aces won by a run and slipped past the Tigers 4-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Aces, who have now won three games in a row.

Meanwhile, Groveport-Madison came up short against Reynoldsburg on Monday, falling 17-4.

Groveport-Madison saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Lutz, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Kaden Slone also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Groveport-Madison's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Amanda-Clearcreek, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
