Basketball Recap: Pretty Prairie Victorious

If Central Christian Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Pretty Prairie, they should've done a better job of containing Evan W Young. The Pretty Prairie Bulldogs managed a 52-47 victory over the Central Christian Academy Lions on Thursday thanks in part to W Young, who went 11 of 19 on his way to 24 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

The win got Pretty Prairie back to even at 5-5. As for Central Christian Academy, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-4.

Pretty Prairie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-29 victory against Chase on the 24th. As for Central Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-25 defeat against Reno County HomeSchool on the 24th.
