Volleyball Recap: Landrum Cardinals vs. Mid-Carolina Rebels
Landrum had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Mid-Carolina Rebels as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rebels, too.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13, 25-19.
Preslee Quinn paced Landrum's offense, picking up 13 kills. Quinn got some help from
Emma Smith and her 21 assists.
Landrum pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to aces: they averaged an imposing zero aces in those games compared to only zero in the others. As for Mid-Carolina, their loss dropped their record down to 18-10-2.
