Volleyball Recap: Cornerstone Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Cornerstone Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tazewell Bulldogs.

Cornerstone Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Tazewell, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Cornerstone Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Holston on the 13th. Hopefully Tazewell paid attention to the Lions' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Lions at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
