Softball Recap: Schoharie Comes Up Short

Schoharie lost against Berne-Knox-Westerlo back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Storm fell 13-9 to the Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that the Storm have lost by exactly four runs.

Madison Reinhart was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Grace Reinhart was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Schoharie and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Berne-Knox-Westerlo, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

Coming up, Schoharie will challenge Middleburgh at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Berne-Knox-Westerlo, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Canajoharie at 5:00 p.m.
