Softball Recap: Pottsboro Comes Up Short

Pottsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 15-0 to the Bells Panthers. If the Cardinals were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Panthers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pottsboro's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Bells, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1-1.

Coming up, Pottsboro will challenge S & S Consolidated at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. S & S Consolidated will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Pottsboro surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bells, they will be playing at home against Howe at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bells knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Howe likes a good challenge.
