Baseball Recap: Clearview Comes Up Short

The Clearview Clippers came up short against the Rittman Indians on Friday, falling 16-1. The Clippers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clearview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Alvarado, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Clearview now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Rittman, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clearview will take on Open Door Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Rittman, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Waterloo at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
