Volleyball Recap: Central's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clovis, Central was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Clovis West Golden Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 23-25, 25-21.

The victory snapped Central's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 17-10 record. As for Clovis West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-19 record this season.

Central and Clovis West will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Grizzlies see the court they'll take on Buchanan at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Clovis West, their break will end when they face Clovis East at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
