Basketball Recap: Lake Quinault Takes a Loss

Lake Quinault was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 85-28 loss at the hands of the Taholah Chitwhins. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Elks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-12 back in December of 2024.

Jayden Lewis continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Taholah, putting up 25 points. Another player making a difference was Peyton Vitalis, who posted 17 points.

Lake Quinault's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Taholah, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Lake Quinault wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 53-43 victory against Mary M. Knight on the 28th. As for Taholah, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 53-45 defeat against Muckleshoot Tribal on the 25th.
